Pros
Benefits are still very good. Bonuses can be large when performance is high. There have been many opportunities for advancement in the past for employees willing to relocate multiple times.
Cons
Company has become all about cost cutting. Pay has stagnated for many associates. Capital budgets have been slashed and plants can barely keep up basic maintenance. Forced rankings that tie to bonus have been a huge demotivator. Company has adopted a new "one size fits all" approach to running their plants. Bureaucracy is very high in this company. You can't hire a replacement or scrap one drum of material without approval from Germany.
