Mixed feelings - Software Engineer Hemnet Employee Review

One of the reasons for the low star review is the fact that nothing is particularly outstanding. This is actually the issue with this company. Even is bad companies something shines but here everything is average, at its best. Management is nice but ignorant about technical challenges, colleagues are nice but they are sometimes very impersonal and detached from real engineering tasks, the company is now international but at its core still very Swedish, Product is nice but very often avoids decisions, the process is agile but with key elements missing. Unless you are not compatible with such a culture, working here is quite depressing.
