      Well-designed programmes, flexible schedule and social work for a cause. Volunteer experience with HelpAge India looks good on one's resume.

      Cons

      Travel and living expenses are not reimbursed. A lot of travel is involved to remote places for reaching out to needy people. You must be willing to live with this if you wish to volunteer.

      Pros

      It is an old organisation and ground staff are working very efficiently for the elderly.

      Cons

      Leadership is very bad. There is no place to complain. HR is also very bad. They hire for a role but then give some other work that is not aligned to the job profile.
