Pros
Help at Home Inc. pays the most out of almost all home health agencies. You have the ability to work as much or as little as you want. Staff can pick the individuals that they want to work with and refuse those that they do not. Help at Home allows staff to meet with the individual prior to being trained on them so the staff can see if it is something that will work. The varying levels of care that Help at Home has allows staff to find what works for them. If you are willing to work and willing to work with multiple supervisors then there are plenty of available hours. Mileage is reimbursed, raises every year, benefits, and union representation. There are paths to promotion and advancement for those wanting it.
Cons
This is not a 9-5 Monday through Friday job or company. Most work is evening to overnights. You are expected to have a vehicle and insurance as you do have to transport individuals. Mileage is reimbursed. Some individuals are hard to work with but you are made aware before you actually start working with them. I believe the harder individuals should have a higher rate of pay.
