Good HR, line manager and office culture

The organisation moves in and out of different fields of work and operational locations due to pursuing/securing contracts (e.g. with local authorities) but inevitably it's a competitive field and they lose contracts too. It's deliberately and historically a very flexible organisation as a result, but obviously mean employees at all levels come and go. Be prepared to lose colleagues suddenly which can be hard, and take into account that your own job probably depends on funding or an organisational structure that isn't guaranteed indefinitely.
