Pros
- Friendly teams and staff members - Nice office - Great opportunities when you're in the good books
Cons
- Upper management's personal perception of you determines all your opportunities, irrespective of talent or hard work - Huge favouritism/clique culture - No training and opportunity for growth (unless you're one of the said favourites) - Mostly smaller, embarrassing clients where you're forced to question your own morals and integrity for the sake of their bottom line - Used COVID as an opportunity to threaten and incite fear into employees rather than implementing anything to look after our wellbeing. Any 'policy' that was introduced was all performative and you were looked down on if you actually took up any of the incentives offered - Upper management expect the world of you yet party on weekdays and don't show up where they're needed. A lot of fake 'support' on offer - Upper management is extremely misogynistic and consistently talk down to women in the agency with belittling and condescending comments - Owner has no social awareness or people skills and spends too much time talking about how great the agency is and how 'lucky' you are to be there without paying attention to the clear problems - Hire new people to fill small gaps without worrying about the gaping holes. There's a high turnover rate for good reason. Employees are just numbers used to flex about the status of the company, not treated as valuable human beings - Very poor communication between upper management and staff, which causes unnecessary friction
