Pros

Some colleagues were great to work with and extremely helpful. That's about the only plus

Cons

Toxic Micromanagement: Upper and mid-level managers routinely micromanage even the most minor tasks. Constant unnecessary check ins that one moment you're fine and the next they have a list of all the small things they don't like about you even when they're unfounded and false to begin with Unrealistic Expectations: Management sets arbitrary and shifting goals with little regard for feasibility or workload. Did you meet the goals told to you in a previous meeting? Well that wasn't good enough and here's all these other areas we have a problem with too now even though you're doing the most work in your department. Terrible Work-Life Balance: Don't ever use your earned PTO unless you like it being used against you. Don't even think about coming in even a minute late (literally 1-2 mins). Don't ever get sick. Forget ever scheduling anything during the week. All of these things will be brought up and used against you as though having a life outside of work is almost offensive to them. Taking time off is met with passive-aggressive pushback or outright guilt-tripping. The only style of management that exists here if you don't immediately come in as one of your boss's "favorites" is intimidation tactics. If you try to call out any of this extremely unhealthy behavior, you're stonewalled or ridiculed further and nothing will change. No Room for Growth: They'll tell you there is and that's seniority doesn't matter in promotions, but that's a flat out lie. They'll dangle growth in your face and when you achieve the goals they ask they move the standard and you're stuck exactly where you were before. They'd rather give the position to whomever they like, not who deserves it. Don't ever work here. Don't ever think about working here. Maybe it's better for the employees in Germany, but the US HQ in Franklin, MA is a cesspool of unhealthy management, unnecessary stress, and intimidation tactics. It doesn't matter what department you're in. I was in multiple. This is their culture and it is not good to say the least.
