Good building; lots of perks; great coworkers; delicious food; internal job board
Cons
Mean Human Resources department; art gallery isn't as stocked as it could be; gym only has one scent of body wash; sometimes, the sushi bar runs out of tuna; there are only 16 elevators, so you might have to stop at other people's floors
Hearst Response
10y
With a company this size in the heart of New York City, employees in these departments work the best to keep up with the demand.
I love working at Hearst in the Baltimore, Maryland market. I have worked for many radio stations over the past nearly 40 years and this is one of the best companies as far as working environment. I really feel cared for here.
Cons
On a personal level, I've had a hard time getting full time employment within the company, which is discouraging. Also, it takes forever for management to make hiring decisions.
