Pros

- Hearst Tower is a great building to work in (when everyone wasn't working from home) - Great gym with really nice yoga classes - A LOT of free stuff (at least at Good Housekeeping) - Opportunities to pitch ideas and make them happen - Reasonable deadlines - Stable. I'm not afraid I'll lose my job at any moment. (which for a video editor is pretty great) - Decent enough health insurance

Cons

- No substantial bonuses or clear way up the corporate ladder. - Easy to feel like just a number in a gigantic company - Not a particularly fun office culture - Quantity over quality mindset

Pros

Well-organized and good communication. As a contractor, I found Hearst to be a pleasure to work with.

Cons

I don't have any cons to report other than that the accounts payable is out of North Carolina and can take 60 days to receive payment.
