Pros

401k and benefits. Coworkers are really nice people. The owner of the company seems like a genuinely nice person.

Cons

since the company employees are no longer 1099, the company has had immediate changes that are typical of large corporations who lose sight of what is important to the employees. Changes every rep I have spoken to, were dreading. The company says they care about your schedule and do everything in its power to keep it the same as when we were 1099's but that is not true for many. Role playing is another example that most employees are pretending they like in front of the sups, in private, admit that they hate it. We are tired of hearing the benefits of role playing, give us choices! (such as you can participate in role playing, or you can share your best practices in front of the group, or another rep can ask, how would you handle this situation and you respond back..The supervisors say they will listen to your needs or wants privately, but then you are berated for anything that they feel goes against the sups desires. It is their way or the highway. Sups are disrespectful often putting you down by stating that we were taught this in training, we should know this by now, etc, to the point where we go to each other rather that be verbally beat up by our sup (many reps complain about this in private) you get the feeling you cannot go over your sups head to complain because your supervisor is respected and you won't be believed. Like any company, reps will constantly complain in private but not stick together and speak up, and those same reps constantly state the opposite of what they say in private, in meetings, etc. due to the pressure we all feel to conform or lose your job. Call metrics drastically increased, so we are not as effective at assisting guests, because we have to get our quota of calls in for the day. We have to find someone to take over our shift just to take a day off, even a sick day unless it is an emergency situation. We need vacation and sick days that are paid for by the company. I loved this company when we were 1099's. This is a company I planned on staying with for many more years, but unfortunately, I would definitely consider another company to work for.

Working at the Healthy Back Institute (HBI) has been a truly rewarding experience, marked by a combination of professional growth and personal satisfaction. The opportunity to collaborate with a strong and capable team has not only enhanced my skills but also deepened my appreciation for a workplace that values competence and initiative. This, coupled with the company's innovative environment, encourages creativity and forward-thinking, making every project exciting and impactful. The chance to work remotely adds a layer of flexibility and work-life balance that is highly valued in today's dynamic job market. The leadership at HBI is commendable. The Executive Team work tirelessly to support the company and its employees, which is a testament to the effective leadership at the company and the positive direction in which the company is headed. This purpose-driven leadership trickles down through all levels of management, fostering an environment ripe for professional development. My experience has been profoundly positive, and I am grateful to work for HBI.

Cons

Sometimes Communication Barriers Between Departments Can Arise, but They are Minimal.
