      Pros

      I was tremendously impressed by the company culture. And I'm not just talking about fun stuff like regular pizza and donuts (which I did indeed love)... More so the openness of communication: across departments, up-and-down the chain command, with prospects and long-time customers. There is a real palpable feeling of doing things right as a full enterprise, not taking anything personally, and enjoying the process.

      Cons

      The company got pigeon-holed into an oddball software niche which limited long term growth.

      Pros

      Everyone is like family. Work life balance is emphasized. Respect and dignity all around.

      Cons

      It was in downtown Portland so the commute was not fun.

      Pros

      Great co-workers. Interesting product. Nice location in PDX, right downtown.

      Cons

      Lots of ego at the top of the pyramid, which made for some really questionable decisions and treatment of employees during my short tenure there. It seems like the kind of place where if you can find a niche and not voice controversial opinions, or get on the good side of C-levels, then you can coast.
