Pros

Absolutely amazing comapny to grow with. Values their employees, focuses on a great culture, and has amazing growth opportunities within the company. Managers have open door policy for communication and I always felt heard and supported. Personally, my team was very collaborative and I left the position better than when I came in. My leadership provided great mentoring and always pushed me to be the best me I could be.

Cons

In my opinion, they could improve on their benefits, but I think that is true amongst most companies.

Pros

The pay met my expectations, although benefits had room to grow. I believed in the product and the mission of HCH until the data didn’t back up what they were actually selling. When brought up to upper management concerns of this and a need to dig deeper or illustrate it to clients and prospects in a way that made sense it was as if no one cared or the problem was too big to control.

Cons

The position I interviewed for compared to what I stepped into were vastly different. I received very little training and it was sink or swim right from the go. Luckily, I thrive in situations like that but it created a lot of stress that I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through. The culture at HCH is truly broken and based on my experience, others who have left and shared, their reputation in the industry that I’ve since learned, and even the experience I had when I left I can tell you that you should be very cautious before making this step. Secrets were shared with me and my teammates about leadership/ “C-Suite” that created moral conflict. Opportunities for a leader to roll up their sleeves and correct the culture issues with help from HR were missed repeatedly and twisted for their own benefit into something unrecognizable. The micromanagement from my leadership when I left was incredibly toxic and unregulated completely. I and my teammates were screamed at and retaliated against on multiple occasions for things that were out of our control or scope. Seeing people cry in meetings and at the office was a daily occurrence towards the last six months of my employment. Travel and working hours in Account Management were unrealistic and not at all conducive to a healthy work life balance. There wasn’t a single day I took PTO that I didn’t have to work just to keep things afloat. It’s team vs team culture with so much negativity spread that they are always going to be spinning their wheels until the culture is addressed from top down.
