Pros
Employer paid Health/Dental/Vision Work From Home Regular Sales Bonuses Random Sales Contests Health IQ is the first sales organization I’ve ever been where the sales metrics weren’t explicitly stated as their actual goal seems to be whats best for the customer and it actually isn’t just a PR line. I’ve been here since 4/20/21 so far the experience has been pleasant, I’m not sure what the disconnect was for those who didn’t share the experience. I mean its a sales job, reality is if you don’t sale you generally won’t make decent money. So far I’ve hit bonus every month since being on the sales floor and the pay is fairly consistent with what I made at other organizations being a top seller. Their Medicare Division is relatively new which means opportunity is there for growth and promotion.
Cons
The other-side of the coin for their Medicare Div being a relatively new is that some of the infrastructure really hasn’t been developed or integrated in the same sense that you see at many of the older organizations. The training was okay, but they didn’t really address some of the proprietary systems for their CRM based apps. Some of the leads can be on the rough end, coming from someone who in the past was primarily OB sales, but at the end of the day its not the lead that truly makes or decides what you end your daily count with its the agent. Contracting can take awhile, but thats partly on the carriers and the agents as most carriers have a 90 day self release period if the old agency won’t release.
