Pros

Everyone is willing to help you be successful. The management that I have encountered has cared about me as a person and as an employee. Schedule flexibility is great. HC truly cares about it's clients and employees deeply.

Cons

The on-boarding process needs to improve when it comes to training new employees and getting them field ready. The training videos were helpful, but I believe I would have been more prepared had I worked with another AE prior to being assigned to a client.

Thank you for sharing this review and for your encouraging words. I'm grateful to hear that your experience thus far has been positive. I also appreciate your feedback regarding improvement opportunities in the onboarding process, particularly within our professional services organization. This is an area of significant focus within professional services, and I know there is a plan to enable more mentoring and job shadowing as part of the onboarding process, which will be enabled as we develop a little more bench capacity (which has been quite limited lately) within the organization. We will also work, every day, to reinforce our appreciation and respect for each team member as a colleague, and work to care for each team member each day. This is a great reminder of the central importance of caring for each team member. Thank you again! Best, Dan

Pros

Great Talent & Culture: The people here are highly capable, collaborative, and committed to helping each other succeed. The partnership between onshore and offshore teams works well and is a real strength. There’s a culture of grit and stability that has helped the company navigate multiple major transitions over the years. Mission-Critical Engineering: The work involves complex data infrastructure that requires deep technical expertise. It can be demanding, but seeing these systems run successfully and support real-world operations is consistently rewarding.

Cons

Wage Compression and Retention Risk: Compensation for tenured and high-performing staff has not kept pace with the market for specialized data engineering and support leadership. In practice, tenure can feel undervalued or even penalized. This creates risk around losing institutional knowledge and operational continuity. Stagnant Career Progression: Contrary to stated expectations, strong performance ratings do not consistently translate into meaningful, market-aligned compensation growth. The process of how compensation is benchmarked lacks clarity in practice, obscuring how compensation decisions are made and what is required to advance.
