High turnover, empty promises - Nurse Practitioner Healing Partners Employee Review

Pros

Higher than average starting pay, Average PTO

Cons

Don’t value staff. High turnover. Expect you to see more and more patients and take more facilities. Bonus is little and not worth the time it takes to meet the requirements and see so many more patients. Information told in interview was not reality once hired. Upper management has great values and standards but this is not portrayed in the day to day activities of supervisory positions that make numbers and quotas more important than caring for patients and valuing the staff.

Pros

Pay was good, however they do not take in account years of NP experiance.

Cons

Micro-management. Was told in the interview no commute over an hour, however this is untrue. Cannot take PTO during a holiday week. NPs have to make up holiday coverage when they are off. Holidays are now a burden, fitting five days of work to four days due to being off. If it snows forget it, you are expected to still see patients no matter how inconvenient. No judgement on frequency of visits, everyone has to be seen weekly. Not a good fit for an experienced NP.
