Pros
The coaching team is made up of incredibly kind, talented, and smart individuals who work hard to support members and each other. Learning and training opportunities are plentiful. Consistent feedback is provided and was helpful to grow as a coach.
Cons
Things shifted dramatically downhill when leadership changed. The care team that was once assured that they would be prioritized is now clearly expendable, and profit seems to be the sole priority at this point. It would be fantastic if the company were led by someone with mental healthcare (or even just healthcare) experience. Coaches are expected to provide excellent support for numerous members simultaneously, some of whom are high-acuity. Morale is plummeting, coaches are suffering, but it seems to be of no concern to the executives. It's disappointing to see such a decline in the quality of a company that felt like a unicorn in mental healthcare when I started. I trusted my instincts and left when the care team was no longer valued, and I see that I made the right choice. Pay was never stellar, but at least the benefits helped make up for that. Now, the benefits are vanishing.
