Pros
Lots of smart teammates that are great to work with, not as scummy as most tech companies
Cons
The CTO and other senior engineering leadership has been in constant rotation for years and it's worse than ever since the merger. They used to at least be mostly hands off and let engineers make decisions in their areas of expertise, but now they've started making top-down decisions about our tech stack without the necessary knowledge or context and against the explicit recommendations of engineers. It's been hard enough to do good work here with such aimless leadership, but now they're actively getting in the way and making things worse.
