Pros

- flexibility in work/life balance - mission feels good (mostly) - good for starting a career/launching pad into tech but not great if you want to learn from others/grow in a role

Cons

- executive leadership (i.e. intuit hires) are not integrated well with the rest of the company. there's a huge culture mismatch - general lack of interest/motivation amongst tenured headspace employees makes it hard to get things done - employee attrition means re-orgs every quarter and constant onboarding/offboarding - there's almost no one left at the VP level (makes decision making almost impossible) - lack of faith in strategy/direction of the company

Thank you for providing your candid feedback on where we're doing well, and where your experience has highlighted some opportunities for us to take stock. Following our most recent employee engagement survey, leaders have and will be coming together across the org to take critical action around our Top 3 areas of focus of employee feedback (Performance Evaluation, Decision-Making & Communication). Functional leaders (have or) will be setting time to review and hear from their teams regarding key team-level insights on the most important areas that have been identified for action through the survey. We currently have a substantial Executive Leadership Community (40+ Directors, Senior Directors & VPs), which we feel good about for the size of our organization. With your note in mind, rest assured that we will definitely look into this more deeply with our People Business Partners to assess for any gaps here. Again, we appreciate you sharing your insights - and wish you every success in your next chapter. Many thanks SP Simon Perry Senior Director, People Operations + Places

Pros

-they offer great resources for members to utilize -continued education to sharpen your coaching skills

Cons

-there have been so many changes and expectations that are frustrating to navigate -they expect way too much for so little pay and no benefits -this role is so taxing on your own mental health... many of the members that you see aren't a good fit for coaching, so you're also filtering a lot of members for therapy and navigate really heavy mental health conversations that aren't within the scope of coaching -feedback isn't delivered live, it's all put in a spreadsheet that's clearly input by automation
