- the staff are the best people I’ve worked with. Smart, kind, passionate and always willing to support one another. The culture of front line staff was like none other. - the pay is competitive from a market standpoint - the OG missions of both headspace and ginger were incredible and motivating
Cons
The decline in Headspace in the last few years is truly one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve witnessed in my career. This company took two INCREDIBLE start ups with smart, driven people and thriving cultures and stripped them to nuts & bolts. During my time at Headspace, I was treated so terribly that I had to seek therapy (ironic) and I know at least half my team was needing to do the same. The platitudes uttered by the CEO were so empty and emotionless I feel sure they were written by AI. I witnessed terribly unethical things and despite reporting them, nothing was ever done. It really is such a disappointment after all the work that was done to create a healthy, happy workforce.
