Fun coworkers. Travel to interesting places at times. Gained me one or two points for my resume to get me my dream job I have now.
Cons
On Hawkins' career website their CEO extolls their virtues in training. He states it doesn't matter if the potential employee doesn't understand sales, water treatment, etc., then no big deal, Hawkins will train. I received no training on either subject, and after requesting more training several times, I was told by management to figure it out myself - a very "it's my way or the highway" type of attitude. Basically, I was set up to fail; multiple promises for help of which I received none from coworkers and management so much that management held back other employees from helping me. Based on multiple negative comments about management from coworkers (and about coworkers from management), I do wonder if the group I was in will make it. One can only replace so many employees before management comes into question for their leadership (or lack thereof) style.
