Great manager and pay is good for an easy summer job

Part way through the season, most of the slide attendants quit. Instead of hiring more slide attendants they scheduled the remaining slide attendants "teenagers" for 60+ hours a week and placed the lifeguards on the slides. As this continued the remaining slide attendants quit and the lifeguards started to work the slides more. The park then decided that since the lifeguards were doing the slide attendants jobs that they should get the slide attendant pay; so they decided that they were going to quit paying the lifeguards their wages for the time they were working the slides and instead pay them the rate of the slide attendant despite there being a signed form for the pay each position received.
