Pros

To be quite honest the only pro of working here was being able to quit.

Cons

Operational insufficiencies Priorities skewed toward Oahu and Maui clinic leaving Hilo clinic in the dust Unmet hours for clients Parent complaints No assistance when you need help, but excessive follow ups when you critic them Lock you into working there for 6 months minimum threatening to have you repay unnecessary training fee of $500 High turnover rate All the rbts quit within the first 6 months of me working there.

Pros

On-going training and certification was provided at no cost - eg: BLS certification, QBS Safety Care certification, ongoing scheduled continuing education, etc. which were beneficial both in this role and in the future. Supervisors were always great, good support from company when needed.

Cons

Outdated understanding of Autistic children and ABA used heavily at the time. Employee benefits were limited - pay was fixed rate/hr (22/hr) with no bonuses or yearly salary increase, just a referral program with a bonus attached. No retirement plan but decent healthcare/insurance coverage for full-time employees, minimal PTO and difficult to use due to shortage of leadership roles. Difficult communication with leadership/program coordinators due to high turnover (unreasonably high caseloads/PC, poor leadership coordinator), generally there was non-competitive compensation and fewer benefits for the same role in other agencies.
