Pros
The best thing about Hattaway is the clients. If you're lucky, you'll have one account that is a joy to work on. If you're lucky. If you're in the CEO's good graces, you'll be protected and given favorable treatment over others.
Cons
Company runs like a dysfunctional family, with leadership behaving like out-of-touch parents to dependent children. Leadership invests in toxic employees, seemingly unbothered by how it hurts morale. Management tokenizes employees of color, feigns ignorance when the behavior is pointed out, and makes those employees of color juniors on the accounts their backgrounds won. Some of the stories about how employees get treated that have been going through the grapevine for years at Hattaway sounded unbelievable to me at first, and then I personally saw the same things happen and I was gutted. It's sad because there's a lot of potential in this place. It just doesn't go anywhere because of really poor management.
