Pros
Harvest is the first place I've ever worked that truly respects balance and work/life boundaries. While everyone works hard and cares sincerely about our customers, people really respect our fully remote/flex culture. Also if you need face-to-face interactions, we have 2 pretty amazing company Summits annually that take place across the U.S. and more recently even in Europe. Also there's opportunities to give back to charities that you love in a really impactful way - this has been such a massive perk. All in all, good people, stable company, great place to work.
Cons
- Being fully remote requires a certain level of self-disciple, grit and focus. It took me time to adjust so if you really do need an office culture, this is not the right place for you.
- As the company is privately-held, there's no equity to compensation. It's about base + bonus which is totally competitive but just different. It can be a mindset shift for some so worth calling out.
