Pros
I worked at Harrison Richards for about a year right out of college after graduating with my MBA. Working for a small company was beneficial in numerous ways and provided the opportunity to learn all aspects of how to run a business. The management at Harrison Richards has always been supportive of my professional growth; I worked directly on numerous interesting projects that ranged from the installation of an EV charging station to appealing to the Zoning Hearing Board of Lower Merion Township. Every day I learned something new and I believe that the experience I got from Harrison Richards is what allowed me to get the job that I applied for closer to my hometown. The work environment is very collaborative and coworkers will soon become your friends. I will definitely miss the Harrison Richards team, and it is bittersweet to be leaving.
Cons
The main reason that I left this job was because I wanted to move back to my hometown to be closer to my family (especially during COVID). If it wasn't for not being happy in my personal life, I would have stayed at this job for several more years. Keep in mind that this is a fast-paced environment due to the nature of the work. I personally enjoyed this dynamic because I was never bored and was able to learn so much.
