You will feel isolated from decision-making and are only engaged when leadership wants to exercise control. ​Constant Interference: Expect to be micromanaged by people who are thousands of miles away and have no idea how your projects actually function. It is a highly annoying and inefficient way to work. ​Unrealistic Expectations: They expect expert-level output but offer zero support and even less professional empathy. They simply do not care about the people, only the data points. ​No Growth: If you want to move up the chain, look elsewhere. This is not a company that values or promotes its Project Managers.
