Pros

It is a good place to start your career, if you are interested in med tech industry. Lots of work to be done, so you get a lot of experience in various areas quickly.

Cons

The cons of the company heavily outweigh the benefit of experience... Founder of the company is still the President, and even though it is now an 'employee owned' company, it is 100% still the Presidents baby in every way... extremely poor pay for the area and industry, and profit sharing and ESOP are dangled in front of you to try to justify poor pay and other benefits. Next to no vacation time (5 days for first year, 10 days after that). Upper management all brown nose the President to try to get want they want, which creates a very selfish and self-centered environment. The 'lower level' coworkers and managers are great to work with, however they will be blamed by upper management if things don't go as their department head wants them to go. Creates a toxic and hostile work environment, and instead of people working through conflict, they will go complain to the President. President plays favorites, which is detrimental to the growth of the company. They will tell you that you are all a part of the Hardy team, but in reality nothing good comes your way unless the President thinks of you as one of his favorites. I would never recommend this company to a friend, or even to an enemy.
