Pros

I was is college as I worked for Harbor Freight, and they were excellent about working around my school schedule. If something at school came up to where I was going to be late or couldnt make it to a shift, they were very understanding and worked with me on the matter. It is a great place for students to have a job with a decent amount of hours. They also are among the highest paying part time retail positions in my area.

Cons

You are expected to work most weekends, but that is a common thing in the retail industry. It's not a big deal, but if you're one who needs all or most weekends off, that would be a problem.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
