Pros

Environment is easy to learn and great path to success . Had the opportunity to train at a nearby store prior to our new store opening in July. If you are a quick learner and enjoy working with customers that love working with tools this is a great place to work and grow. Great experience with company, great programs to grow with in the company

Cons

Very little monitoring of schedules by upper management (DM). No real work life balance unless you are store manager. Store Manager never works night so as a key carrier you will be expected to close most nights. I close store 10 out of 14 of my shifts as a Sales Supervisor. The other shifts are normally till 7pm. Never make it home for dinner with family.

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
