Pros

Company is profitable and growing fast, so lots of opportunity Nice employee discount Great benefits program with very competitive employee cost Good incentive comp schemes, especially for sales roles

Cons

My Store Manager had zero people skills; the employess universally disliked working for him Hours are late for Logistics employees (for "PM stores", working 4 till midnight 3-4 days per week) "Full time" employees were only scheduled ~32 hours per week Too much focus on SOP; management too ready to play "Gotcha" if i's weren't dotted and t's not crossed. Work is very physical when unloading freight; mind-numbingly tedious when doing endless price changes, changing pricing tag overlays, etc. Very little attention paid to customers

Pros

Great benefits, fast paced environment, good teamwork. I liked the hours, you get an education about tools, whether from your coworkers or the customers. And speaking of the customers, they were on the better side for retail. Most are down to earth and easy to converse with.

Cons

Supply chain issues, many parts would never be replenished, despite being featured, advertised, and on display. That would often lead to tensions with customers. Aggressive time constraints on tasks. Sidewalk sales, holidays, and also coincidentally inclement weather days, can be quite busy and therefore stressful. Especially if there's call outs, but if you have a good management team, you'll have good staff that will want to work for them.
