The FP&A team is rather inexperience and lacks professionalism in their day-to-day communications, creating a toxic environment for the team players. Lack of leadership in the team, in my opinion, has resulted in a significantly high employee turnover (5 team members left during my first year) within the FP&A (excluding FP&A director) team, and the HR seems to have been ignoring all the concerns brought up by the team members. The hostile environment has also made business partnering with various teams at Happy Family extremely difficult, creating unnecessary tensions that slowed down daily activities. For the fairly low level of salary the company paid, I was expected to be available after-work hours and weekends, with unreasonable deadlines the majority of times. The lack of teamwork and finger-pointing made the last several months at the company quite miserable and had an adverse impact on my mental health. I am glad I left the company when I did and found a team that values and appreciates all the work and efforts I bring to the table.
