Pros
Having daily contact with the company President eliminated miscommunication from middle managers. Family oriented environment. Employment longevity, most employees had been there for over 15 years. Good benefit package. Knowing you have a voice that is considered.
Cons
Lack of formal training during early stages of employment. A common oversight in companies with high retention rates. Not a company problem, but a long commute got very old.
