Pros

I get to evaluate the repairs the customers need done and then I calculate the estimate myself so I am able to be fair to the customer and myself as we are paid a very good commission of the labor. They also provide a great app for doing the scheduling and estimates, its fairly easy to use for someone like myself.

Cons

Sometimes to many estimates but thats better than not enough, most of the guys make it look easy.

Just three of many stories: expected to clean gutters in blizzard. Penalized $50 for no show even though I rescheduled directly with customer Picked up a fan replacement. Turns out it was a new fan install. The difference between these jobs is massive. Talked to customer directly. Penalized $50 for no show. 2 hours for leaf removal. 3 acre wooded property. No adjustment made. Unpaid for "not completing" These are just a few scenarios where a conversation with a person for maybe 30 seconds would have solved the problem. Instead I get two page emails demonstrating that all my efforts to convey the circumstances went unheard. No one cleans gutters in snow and 40 mph winds
