Pros

Some of the regional people are great, some people will work you to death and never appreciate your support.

Cons

Upper level managers come and go. Big changes are made without heads up. Tools and marketing are from the early 2000s. Sales slips and too few customers. You will likely get work for 3-5 positions (sales, marketing, reporting, budgeting, booking, database MGMT, and estimating)

Pros

Not much good here. I am a structural steel welder with many years experience. I passed their flux core tests but told them I have never welded pipe. They didnt listen and gave me a 6G tig test with one day of practice. Big surprise I didnt pass. This place sets people up to fail. They play favorites. Supervisors are all rude. If you are not on the favorites list you will be carbon arcing, installing insulation and other menial jobs no matter how skilled a welder you are. When workload diminishes you will be on a yard crew cleaning up their 40 years worth of junk. Antique welding machines and tools. Extremely dirty shop. Walls and paneling inside have holes and are basically falling apart. No personal development plans in place. No room for advancement. All the people who have been there for years are physically degraded and beat up. If you are gonna work that hard dont do it for $22/hour.

Cons

Their miller machines are from the 60s and 70s. They are a joke and all weigh around 500 pounds. Get ready to move them all over the building on wheeled carts by hand.
