Pros

-Great selling story -Possible potential for growth (if you are willing to bend over backwards and receive little to no appreciation/compensation)

Cons

-Absolutely NO structure (DEFINITELY a start-up culture despite taking as a luxury branded company); From corporate to retail to procedures to even just the regular federal/state laws.. They have no idea what they are doing. They are too focused on expansion, they have not established any rules to abide by. The handbook is something that looks to be copied and pasted and has not been updated at all since expansion outside of Minnesota. You have no idea who you are supposed to report to in the corporate office because "everyone does a little of everything." -Terrible training program; They will take forever to hire you and once you have a start date, they expect you to know what to do and produce high volumes with barely any training selling wise. -Terrible staying true to their word; When interviewing, the recruiter took pride in the company culture and how they "always promote from within." I stayed in an "in training" role for months after the designated time (3 months) because the recruiter vanished and showed up months later trying to establish "growth." Talks were extremely condescending and borderline harassment (but there is no actual HR to report it to because no one has a title/designated job) -- definitely not part of the company culture they took pride in. Everything was always done very passive aggressively and made you feel uncomfortable to go to work daily. I tried advancing by doing additional work/asking questions about things that needed to be done, and the response was always "we are working on it" but once I established something they would use my version almost immediately and change it so it looked like they "were working on it." -No growth/development; If you start at the company for an in training role, its just another way for them to save money and not pay you correctly/give benefits. You will never see a promotion no matter how much extra work you do on top of your current role. They expect you to continue to provide extra work because they are too cheap to actually compensate correctly for those actual roles to exist. -Company Culture is a joke; They say the company is very wholesome and "family" like but its very clique-like. If you are not in Minnesota, you don't feel the "family" vibe. I've seen numerous people, management included, leave while I stayed at the company. They have no idea how stabilize employee retention. Stores haven't been open a year and have gone through more store managers/employees than ever imagined because the employees are not happy. -No Benefits; Full time has absolutely NO benefits, so get ready to dish out a couple hundred a month for finding your own health/vision/dental insurance. There is also no incentive for employees to sell more besides the fact that we don't want corporate angry.

Pros

Great pay for entry level

Cons

Upper management only cares about figures and will get mad when you explain why it's hard for a new location to meet them.
