Pros
Hamilton Anderson is a very unique place. The firm culture is great. Lots of talented people, and strong comradely between junior and middle level staff. Those who are entrepreneurial and are driven to go above and beyond are rewarded with more leadership and project responsibilities. The firm portfolio is well developed; not many offices get to work on the same level of impactful projects, much less in the same metro area. One could wait a long time in another firm for the same opportunities at HAA, which come are readily available.
Cons
The biggest blessing is also the firms biggest curse; management roles are not clearly defined which means project team members have to pick up the slack. This allows for advancement, as anyone willing to complete jump in can gain responsibility, However it is a structural issue which needs to be addressed. Not everyone fits well into this environment.
