Pros

- Good Benefits (401k match, Medical coverage, Vision, Dental, Pets) - Really amazing artist level comradery - Work from home is great, very flexible with time zones (They do not supply you with your own equipment) - Time and a half overtime pay. - There are a small handful of leaders that are wonderful and supportive. - If interested in learning more about Unreal Engine this is a good place for that.

Cons

- Ever since NEP bought the studio, it has gone downhill fast. - No pipeline. It's a mess and the artists they hire to fix and make a pipeline aren't listened to and thrown around onto different tasks because they are understaffed due to high turnover. - Artists are thrown around to different shows without much notice all the time. Their favorite solution is to throw bodies at the problem. - EXTREMELY TOXIC LEADERSHIP!! - People are in leadership positions but don't know anything about the department they are leading. - Boys club through and through. Currently about 222 employees and about 60 of them are women, none in supervisor roles. - Extremely high artist turnover. Artists and production quit all the time because of the way they are treated by higher ups and allowed to be treated by their largest client. - Mentally and emotionally manipulative and abusive leadership. These issues have been brought up before and the accused still hold their positions. The artists and producers that raised the complaints have either left the studio or were removed from the projects they were on. They have no respect for the artists and their time outside of work. Artists are afraid to report the issues they see and experience with their leadership due to what has happened to many in the past. HR does nothing even though numerous incidents have occurred. One HR rep even laughed when an employee reported an offensive sexual joke made by leadership. - No variety of work in the finals department and no creative freedom. - Wage gaps between men and women in the same positions. - They love to band-aid fix and not find real long term solutions, so there are constantly technical problems arising. - No room for growth, and no explanations when you are denied your growth. - They want generalists with the expertise of specialized artists.
