Pros

Procedures in place allow things to run smoothly and people know what they are supposed to do. Clear specs for pizza making. Most stores are very flexible with scheduling.

Cons

There are no raises to store employees below assistant store managers. This creates apathy, incompetence, and high turnover. Managers are often switched around between stores, sometimes demoted (at times for good reasons - usually not). Employees will never have more than 29 hours per week - no chance for benefits or overtime.

Pros

Management looks good on a resume. Other than padding for your work experience, Hallrich is a waste of your time.

Cons

Hallrich will lure you in with a promising job offer, and keep you hooked with rewards that they never actually follow through on. Disgustingly low salaries for unrealistic expectations and heavy workload. Outside hires are routinely brought in and paid significantly higher than managers that started in team member positions. Managers are transferred constantly. Upper management communicates only through passive aggressive text messages and emails. Policies and practices are strictly enforced for some employees but not all. Unethical behavior from employees in all levels of management (ranging from theft to sexual relationships), is consistently ignored and forgotten about. You will work every weekend, usually a minimum of 10-12 hour shifts. Your shifts will be different every week, so rest assured you will never be able to make plans or keep up with hobbies or non-work responsibilities. Also, good luck trying to call-off for any reason, including emergencies or illness. On one occasion, I was forced to work while sick with strep throat because no one was available to cover my shift.
