Pros

Ability to pursue descent projects due to size and being a multi-discipline firm (if the marketing department decides it's worth the time). Somewhat stable company since it's core projects in the public sector. Enjoyed the collaboration with fellow team members. The company could have potential...

Cons

Lots of corporate rules that are hidden and not directly expressed. Heaven forbid if you cross the marketing department. No clear policy on advancement and annual reviews are joke. Training for middle management is only supplied to those that are selected.

Pros

- Quiet workplace environment - Relatively stable work (team dependent) - Can be a decent place to work depending on your needs/ wants

Cons

Overall, here is a summary of the company: - Some good teams- the company has some stronger departments, whereas others are not well supported in the organization - Poor benefits and compensation, slow progression/ no progression of salary, no yearly adjustments, no sick leave - Cross-team communication & collaboration were consistently very unorganized; each team is operating on very different managerial practices - The environment radiates the low-budget, value-engineered work that the company largely takes on, in terms of personalities within the office, as well as overall company morale. This will work for you if you value the stability it provides, but it will be difficult to advance in this organization if you aren't in alignment.
