Thank you for taking the time to share your experience as a long-term District Leader with us. Having been with Hair Cuttery full-time for over 5 years, your perspective is incredibly important. The District Leader role is the crucial link that connects the SSC directly to our salons. Without your leadership, our strategic visions wouldn’t translate into reality for our salon teams, and we are deeply grateful for the dedication you bring every day. Your note about profit being the driving factor is well taken. While profitability ensures we can keep investing in our salons and teams, we never want our people to feel secondary to numbers. Thank you for helping us navigate these priorities and for being such a strong advocate for your salon teams. Gustavo Serbia, Chief Human Resources Officer

Pros

- Flexible hours - Friendly/helpful employees - Amazing customers - Great tips

Cons

Sometimes it gets so busy, you can't eat lunch if you do not block of time in advance. That's to be expected at most salons though.

Pros

They do have some benefits

Cons

The benefits get worse and worse every year. They are taking the average hourly pay away for new hires and if they take PTO, they will get paid minimum wage which is ridiculous. The amount of PTO you can accrue is being diminished. They have been saying for years now that they will be “working” on a compensation for high producing part timers who have absolutely no way to make the numbers to get paid their worth and yet to have come up with a plan. We spend way too much time fixing the mistakes “Lily” makes and getting chewed out because appointments are being booked incorrectly. Stop letting marketing who know NOTHING of how appointments work book them. Stop allowing steep discounts that the stylists have to suck up instead of being paid for their work when the company still makes money off of it.
