Pros

- WLB used to be good. - Avg comp - good if you're in initial few years of your career because its all intern written code that is being in prod till date.

Cons

- No innovation, keeps on copying what's everyone is doing while claiming to be market leader xD. - Everyone keeps talking about the good culture but let me tell you its all made up on social media, new leader(Engg) is a core micro manager and the other manager so called the cxo(narcissist), i wish you luck if you're working for/under him, if you don't clean/:tongue_emoji his _, on day to day basis he will find the other ways to exploit your growth in the company. Also, the products he's is trying to build is so non-usable & shallow in terms of engineering, while thinking he's kind some revolutionary. Meanwhile better, cheaper and quality products are available in the market. - The core product is the only revenue generating rest everything is just another marketing thing so to fit everything. - Engineering culture has been on downhill since some of good leaders left. - Overall, Hackerrank's work culture prioritizes crazy work pressure just for the sake of it over the welfare of its employees, creating an environment rife with stress, dissatisfaction, and disillusionment.

Pros

Harder and harder every day to find positives, unfortunately. Used to have a good work life balance, decent off-sites, great managers and co-workers. CEO is slowly but surely destroying the company culture and making it both a tedious and chaotic place to work.

Cons

RTO has cost the company a large amount of important and long standing employees, with no ability to replace them. US teams have been without EMs for 6 months - 1+ years, and are losing Product Managers as well.
