"Great Learning Experience, but Room for Improvement" - Software Engineer HS Plus Employee Review

Limited positives from my experience.

My experience became highly concerning toward the end of my engagement. I was actively delivering strong results and generating revenue when concerns about my performance were suddenly raised, without prior indication or documented feedback. Shortly after, my contract was terminated, and a performance-based bonus that I had reasonably expected in line with my results was not paid. The timing of these decisions, combined with the lack of transparency, raises concerns about how performance and compensation are handled. Additionally, although the role was structured as freelance, the day-to-day expectations and level of control resembled that of an employee position. This created uncertainty regarding responsibilities, protections, and overall fairness. Overall, the experience raised concerns about consistency, transparency, and how contributors are treated, particularly at critical moments.

Nice work environment, remote work and flexible.

Need to work on their organization. Last minute changes all the time.
