Pros

Work from home. Nothing else.

Cons

What an absolute joke of a company. HRLocker are a family run business. There is an inner clique that acts like they have authority over everyone outside the clique. There is so much gossiping and back stabbing going on. Everyone is constantly undermining everyone else’s work. No encouragement at all. Every day is a complete communication breakdown. A horrible blame culture has emerged where everyone is passing the buck and pointing fingers. The CEO is so desperate to be a hero that he always sides with certain managers no matter what. The management/senior staff come across like people who were bullied when they were younger and now it’s their turn to be the bullies. Incidentally, all the five star reviews you see here are from these suck-ups or wannabe clique members. No backbones, just soulless company people. Don’t believe anything in their Principles and Behaviours. The “P&B’s” are there purely to trick people into working for them. The management don’t take any of that seriously. Once they have you in the company there is a slow realisation that you were lied to. They don’t care about Flexibility, Teamwork, Initiative, Business Integrity, Trust and Truth, Ownership, Resilience and Empathy or Customer Focus. Another phrase that was throw around was “This is a safe place to fail”. HRLocker is not a safe place to fail. You’ll get crucified for everything even if you get it right. The CEO is more interested in selling his life story than the software. They have staff writing blog articles about everything but their product. It seems like they want to create a blog site for HR people. Another flight of fantasy by the CEO. I’m fairly sure that the clients aren’t buying a subscription to the software because they like the blogs and podcasts. They should have focused on creating robust software as opposed to pumping money into Sales and Marketing selling a half-baked idea. Last year they got a 2 million euro investment. They put out the message to the media that they will create 50 jobs over the next two years. They created about 30 jobs. Then they went on to fire over 15 people. They fired them on the spot. Their revenues weren’t hitting the target for 2023 and the investors are now running the show. I can tell that this is killing the CEO. If they bothered to fix the product that was actually making them money then maybe their revenues might increase. As opposed to starting new projects that were always a pipe dream. They are so arrogant to think that they could throw money at the problem and assuming that everything would work out. Even the initial software (HRLocker) itself was created by someone else who didn’t know what to do with it. When they got full control over the product, they kicked him out and went about trying to find people who they could control. So even the one good idea they have isn’t even theirs, but they still think they can come up with ideas that will work. Absolute ego-maniacal narcissists.
