Pros

Take part in large transportation infrastructure projects all over the nation with projects like highways, light rail, railroad, and aviation. This firm has a clear direction and provides resources for you at every level from the entry level CAD tech to bidding efforts. Pay is competitive and offers standard benefits.

Cons

Could be hit or miss with the management, and unfortunately not much opportunity for moving between groups. The work may be very boring at times, with possible lulls in work. However there are opportunities to challenge yourself and gain more responsibility than you initially signed up for, great for learning if you are inclined to go that route.

Pros

While the culture varies by office, I found the California offices to have a very friendly, collaborative, and energetic atmosphere. The company also puts genuine effort into its internal events, consistently investing time and resources to make them well organized and enjoyable for employees. In addition, there is a strong culture of continuous learning. Employees are encouraged to develop new skills, and the company provides meaningful support for professional growth and ongoing development.

Cons

It used to be a great company, but its rapid expansion has made the organization feel less structured and less efficient. Compared with many other firms, the workload is exceptionally heavy, and there is a strong expectation that employees will work through long, exhausting hours to meet demanding deadlines. Performance expectations are also very high. As a result, employee turnover is significant, and it is not uncommon for people to leave or even return to their previous employers.
