Pros
- modern and fairly environment, people are not scared of computers! - cool industry - decent base pay - nice colleagues - seamless transition to the work from home - would be an awesome place to work if it were not for the Senior Leadership Team (see CONS below)
Cons
- Senior Management is incapable, the new CEO loves layoffs and uses them as the solution to all of his problems; conspicuously, while there are layoffs and shortage of resources all over the place, the finance team is getting bigger and bigger - while in other companies, the senior management cuts their salaries by 50% to avoid layoffs, the HEXO senior leadership continues to not give a damn - the repeating layoffs are ruining the culture, friendships, collegiality and creating the culture of overworking, poor work-life balance and unpaid overtime - the company values are supposed to be PEOPLE, PLANET, PROFIT, but in reality, it is PROFIT, PROFIT, PROFIT - they just lay off your colleagues and expect you to manage the same amount of work in one person without the increase in pay reflective of the increase in responsibilities
