Pros
Good team mates, some smart engineers, work hours are not demanding. Good for engineers/researchers that think about retiring. The Chicago head office is larger and people tend to be friendlier and happier than in Berkeley. Very good if you like structure, standards and complex architectural problems due to the sheer amount of people it involves .
Cons
Newer engineering management in Berkeley (2015) has no vision, and surprisingly lacking skills for building teams (too many people left the team in 2015). No good for young or creative people. Engineering culture is extremely rigid and focused on some past specialized techniques.
