Pros
Was a great company to work for until 2010. Leadership was outstanding and provided equal opportunities for those willing to work hard. Leadership maintained a great collaborative environment until 2010. Post 2010 leadership changed and it turned into unfriendly organization for female employees. If you are a female employee expect to go no higher than a Manager. Female employees in lower ranks are well tolerated and even encouraged.
Cons
Non technical middle management (Director level employees and most managers). Very unfriendly to female employees with a strong technical background. Poor collaboration among employees towards the goal of team work. Poor practices in promoting meritocracy. Employees who demonstrate an ability to control others rather than encourage them to give their best are promoted into higher ranks. Very old school thought process revolving around control of employees to get the maximum contribution out of employees - a rather ineffective practice.
