Pros

Work/life balance is good, at least within my area. Not the case for certain parts of the company (eg Wall-E). Not a pressure cooker Pleasant colleagues, no visible in-fighting in 7 years with the company Remote work possible to negotiate

Cons

Compensation is ok, but on the low side for our domain. Make sure you negotiate hard at the time of hiring, because once on a track it is hard to achieve significant increase. Benefits used to be fantastic, but now have steadily been carved down to just average industry standards. Promotions are highly bureaucratic, take a very long time, and have minimal comp increases (+8% or less is not uncommon). The company does not incentivize employees to strive. At the end of the day, the only thing we care about is money. That's why we show up every day. Major attrition in US offices and no obvious effort to hire replacements. The general sense is that "leadership" is either indifferent or even favors attrition in the US as it helps free up cash. Any job that they can offshore to a low cost center (India), they will. No clear future. Between the cash crunch, the loss of talent and experience, no brand recognition despite once being the industry leader, and a leadership team that has not delivered on any of its stated goals in the last ~5 years, it feels like we're on a sinking ship. No inside info, just my hunches, but it feels like the company will be stripped down and sold off piece meal within another 5 years. No faith that the current executive team can guide us to a long term winning strategy.

Pros

Leadership is very understanding and are clear SME’s that know what their doing. There’s a learning curve that’s complex, but compensation and experience is worth the training.

Cons

Internal operations could be better, but that’s expected with any growing company.
