Good compensation, nice office, strong engineers passionate about what they are doing

The company either doesn't have or fail to communicate long-term strategy. Many bright engineers are leaving because they don't understand, why their job is important. Management hierarchy is to complex - many concerns and initiatives from the engineering crew seem to either never reach the decision makers or not taken seriously.
