Pros
- Are there any? Although, it varies by project management can really make or break a team. My management was fantastic, but it's an inconsistent pro. - Salary is negotiable. Get in there, play hard ball, you can make more than their initial offer
Cons
- You get paid more if you're Indian working in the US. - Absolutely no room for monetary raises, despite granting "titled" promotions. Basically, plan on doing more work for the same pay. - Employees sometimes paid more than management. I don't even know how that happens. - Many, many false promises in regards to project stability and projected pay increases - All HR/Payroll is based in India, this means there's about a 2-3 day delay in contacting them. The language barrier is huge. - Inconsistent payroll practices. Frequent errors in calculation, random deductions with no notification. I would simply figure that most checks will be $300 short, so that when they are (and they will be) there is no surprise. If you're living paycheck to paycheck find other employment.
